I.I. Portland Chapter 47

Welcome

Ikebana International Portland Chapter 47 meets regularly between September and June featuring programs about ikebana and related cultural arts, instilling an appreciation for the art of Japanese flower arranging. Our members represent different schools of ikebana, enriching our shared interest and “Friendship Through Flowers.”

We dedicate our efforts to the memory of Mrs. Mildred Schnitzer, founder of Portland Chapter 47 in 1961.  Read more ABOUT us.

Ikebana International is a cultural organization with chapters in 50 countries world-wide. Membership is open to everyone interested in the art of flower arranging, regardless of one’s previous knowledge.  JOIN I.I.

In the community, we seek opportunities to meet you by participating in public events with ikebana exhibitions, demonstrations  and other activities. Visit the  GALLERY to see our past events.
